Botanical Garden
350 acres of Atlantic rainforest inside the city. Royal palm avenue, orchid hothouse, monkeys in the canopy. Lunch at the canopy restaurant afterward.

Lagoa at Golden Hour
Private pedal boat or motor launch on Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas as the sun drops. Christ on one side, favela hills on the other. Kiosk cocktails after.

Pequena Africa + Pedra do Sal
The port neighborhood where Rio's Afro-Brazilian culture was born. Walking tour of Pequena Africa, then Pedra do Sal, the historic stone where samba was first played publicly.

Rasta Beach Afternoon
The Black-cultural beach corner at Leme, past Leblon. Palms, drums, caipirinha from a stand not a bar. With Jonas. The beach locals actually go to.

Santa Teresa
Rio's bohemian hill neighborhood. Artists' studios, the Escadaria Selaron mosaic steps, cobblestone streets, lunch at a restaurant that's been there since before you were born.

The Classic Icons Day
Cristo in the morning, Sugar Loaf at golden hour, neighborhood dinner in between. Every first-timer should do this once. Done right, with no queue lines and a driver who knows the timing, it lands completely differently.
The Nature + Water Loop
Botanical Garden at opening, lunch at the canopy restaurant, pedal boat on Lagoa at golden hour with kiosk cocktails after. No monuments. All atmosphere.
The Black Rio Half-Day
Pequena Africa walking tour, community lunch, Pedra do Sal in the afternoon. Ideal as a morning or afternoon block inside a longer trip, or as a standalone if you only have half a day.
Beach + Vidigal Closer
Rasta Beach in the afternoon, caipirinha by the waves, then up to Vidigal for the sunset at Bar da Laje. The most Rio-feeling day we know how to build for someone with one afternoon free.
