Carnival · 6-Week Season

Carnival is a season, not a weekend. Sambadrome, daily blocos, specialty parties (YOLO/Kilario/Batekoo). We build the full arc. Minimum one week in Brazil.

On the groundBryant has been through 6 Carnivals. The blocos are the actual experience; the Sambadrome is one or two nights. Camarote = the version most people picture.
Best timeLate January through early March. Book hotel 6+ months out. Camarote and specialty-party tickets 2-4+ weeks ahead.

New Year's Eve on Copacabana

Up to 3 million people on the beach in white, fireworks at midnight, major acts performing. BBE handles positioning, transport, the full night.

Everyday People takes over Rio every November. Not a gay party, but the scene shows up hard. Tickets drop 6-8 weeks out and move fast.

On the groundMixed crowd, big production, Black-music focused, Rio energy. The annual EDP Rio takeover is one of the most-traveled-for parties on the calendar. Venue changes year to year - we track the drop the moment it lands.

Iemanjá Festival · Salvador (Feb 2)

Brazil's biggest Candomblé celebration. February 2nd in Salvador - dawn offerings to the sea, 500,000+ people by afternoon. Access through Sivaldo's network.

On the groundFebruary 2nd in Salvador. Faithful release flowers, perfume, mirrors, and handwritten letters to the sea in wooden boats. If the sea accepts them, the year goes well. By afternoon the neighborhood is a festival. White clothes, head covered if you can, no plastic in your offerings - we brief you fully.

Michael Jackson's drummers on "They Don't Care About Us." Every Tuesday, Olodum marches through Pelourinho. Free. Loud. Transcendent.

On the groundMarch starts at Casa do Olodum around 7pm, ends in Largo do Pelourinho with a full performance under the colonial buildings. We position you in the right spot, brief you on the etiquette (this is a rehearsal, not a tourist parade), and arrange the ride out so you're not walking Pelourinho late at night.
