Two Million in White
December 31 on Copacabana: white outfits, fireworks, seven waves, and the biggest night of the year in Rio, with a clear plan and local support around it.
in white
The biggest party on Earth.
Réveillon is Rio's New Year's Eve. Nearly two million people pour onto the sand of Copacabana, almost all of them dressed in white, and the whole curve of the beach turns into one moving sea of light. Here is what the night holds.

Two and a half miles of beach, shoulder to shoulder.
The whole crescent of Copacabana fills from the rocks at Leme to the Copacabana Palace and beyond. Stages line the sand, music carries up and down the beach, and the energy builds for hours before midnight.

Everyone wears white.
White is for peace and a fresh start, and almost the entire city honors it. Add a touch of color if you want a little extra for the year ahead: yellow for prosperity, green for health, pink for love. You will never feel more part of something than standing in two million people all dressed the same way, all wishing for the same thing.

Seven waves. Seven wishes. An offering to Iemanjá.
At midnight, people walk to the water's edge and jump seven waves, one wish for each. Many bring white flowers and small offerings and set them on the sea for Iemanjá, the Afro-Brazilian goddess of the ocean and mother of the waters, asking her blessing for the year. It is a Black-rooted tradition that has become the soul of the whole night.

Fireworks over the water, for fifteen straight minutes.
At the stroke of midnight, barges anchored offshore light up the sky over the Atlantic. The fireworks rise out of the sea, the whole beach erupts, and the music keeps going until sunrise.
B.E Guardian, at a two-million-person party.
A night this big is easy to love and easy to feel unsure about, especially the first time. So we built the part most trips leave out. You get to be fully present in the crowd because the quiet logistics are already handled, by real people who live in Rio and an app that has your back.

One tap reaches real people in RioIf you ever need anything, one tap connects you to our team on the ground here, never a call center, never a stranger in another country. Real people who know exactly where you are.
This is not about turning a celebration into a safety lecture. It is about entering the night with a clear route, a planned way home, and real support when the beach gets crowded.
She already did this night.
Aisha brought her group to Rio for New Year's. Here is what she said when she got home.
"Jonas made us feel incredibly safe and valued from the moment we met. Our New Year's trip was everything we hoped for and more."
Built around your group.
Réveillon is shaped to your dates, your group size, and how you want to spend the days around the big night. So the number is built for you, not pulled off a shelf.
Start with a planning call. We talk through your group, your dates, and what you want around New Year's Eve, then send a clear quote within 48 hours. No pressure to book on the call, and nothing locks until you say so.
The night a first-timer can do with a plan.
Plenty of travelers want to experience Rio on New Year's Eve, but the crowd size makes it hard to picture how the night actually works.
That is the gap we close. You come for the white outfits, the seven waves, the fireworks, and the beach energy. We handle the route, local support, and way-home planning that make the night feel doable instead of chaotic.
So instead of guessing your way through a two-million-person event, you arrive with a plan and enjoy the night.
The honest fine print.
A night this big deserves a clear deal, in plain language, with no surprises.
The planning call is free and commits you to nothing. A 30% deposit reserves your dates and is fully refundable for 14 days after you pay it. Postponing to another date is always on the table.
If the celebration is rescheduled or cancelled for reasons outside anyone's control, we move you to the new date or refund every dollar we have not already committed for you. We never keep money for a night that did not happen.
For a trip built around a fixed date, a policy with trip-cancellation and medical coverage is the smart move. We don't sell it, so this is just honest advice, and we'll point you to good providers.
Party and beachfront tickets come from third-party organizers and can be non-refundable once issued. We tell you in writing which is which before you commit to any of them.
