The Long Weekend
3 days. Every door opened. Zero time wasted. The rapid-deployment Rio trip.
Three Days. Every Door.
For the traveler with a tight window who refuses to waste it. Three days in Rio, no dead time, every sequence intentional.

Land. Walk Pequena Africa.
No wasted first afternoon. Your Concierge meets you at GIG and takes you straight to the Port Zone. Pequena Africa orientation walk: Pedra do Sal, the Valongo Wharf, the Pretos Novos cemetery. This 90-minute walk reorients how you see everything else in the city.
Dinner at a Bryant-vetted neighborhood spot. If your arrival is on a Monday: the Pedra do Sal Monday samba starts at 6pm and runs outdoors in the square. It's one of the most authentic musical experiences in Rio and costs nothing to attend. Your Concierge will route around it if dates align.

Three landmarks. One complete day.
Early: Cristo Redentor by private transport before the crowds. The 360-degree view at the top, then the hidden waterfall stop on the way down. Back for a late morning break and a quick change.
Lunch at Santa Teresa, the bohemian hill neighborhood above Lapa: cobblestone streets, the Escadaria Selarón tile-mosaic steps, a restaurant with a view. Then Pão de Açúcar cable car at sunset, the two-stage ascent over the bay when the light is doing what it does in the last hour. If you only have 3 days, this is the day that earns them.
Night (optional): Casa Black in Madureira on a Saturday, or Pink Flamingo in Ipanema from 9pm on any night. Your Concierge coordinates entry and transport. If the group wants to go out, the night is already in the network.

Last beach. Vidigal sunset to close.
Rasta Beach in the morning: the Black-cultural corner of Rio's coastline at Leme, post-1. Palms, drums, the whole thing. This is where most short-trip visitors decide they need to come back for a week.
Afternoon: Vidigal, the favela on the side of Dois Irmãos. Bar da Laje at the top: the bay below, Ipanema and Leblon spread out, the sun going down behind the mountain. This is the final image Rio hands you before you leave. Airport transfer from there, or back to the apartment first if you need it.
